I am a farmer, primarily selling vegetables directly to people in either Columbus or Akron, Ohio. Farming is always challenging, sometimes funny, often rewarding. I lived in Columbus for about 25 years so I have a good understanding of city life and have many food city friends and family. But I grew up in the country and have lived on my farm for almost 10 years so I am beginning to have a good understanding of country life and have many good country friends as well. I have noticed that in this country there is not much understanding or respect for city dwellers from country dwellers and visa versa. I believe that many problems in our country can be solved if somehow we can work at problem solving together, using the strengths of country and city people, together with respect and understanding. So my blog is dedicated to helping city people understand the country and country people understand the city and maybe even get people talking with each other. Most of the time I will try to write about the little stuff happening at my farm and not often get so serious.
